Father in Heaven,
Holy are you, Lord God Almighty, for you alone are worthy of all glory, honor and praise.
We get discouraged so easily. At the first sign of things not going the way we think they should go, or at the first sign of opposition, we are ready to call it quits. Help us to understand, Lord, that it isn't our concern whether things appear to be going "according to plan" or not, as long as we are in Your will and working according to Your purpose. Teach us, Lord, that the outcome of whatever we do is in Your hands, according to Your will, and that You see and know things that we may never know or see. Teach us, Lord, to be thankful simply for the reason that we are being used by You, no matter what the outcome may be. Fill our hearts with Your joy and peace in all we do.
Hear our prayers, Lord, in the precious name of your Son, our Lord and Savior,
