Evening Prayer January 20, 2024

Father in Heaven,
 
Holy are you, Lord God Almighty, for you alone are worthy of all glory, honor and praise.
 
You are the firstborn over all creation. It was by You that all things were created that are in Heaven and are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, dominions, principalities, or powers. All things were created through You and for You. We gratefully acknowledge that everything belongs to You and that anything we have, You have placed in our hands. Help us to never forget what the true reality is, that You are God of all and You are over all.
 
Hear our prayers, Lord, in the precious name of your Son, our Lord and Savior,

Morning Prayer for January 20, 2024

Father in Heaven,
 
Holy are you, Lord God Almighty, for you alone are worthy of all glory, honor and praise.
 
We are thankful, and grateful, for the peace, safety, and security that we find in You. The world claims it can bring us these things, but has proven over and over again that it can only bring the opposite. For any among us that does not yet see the peace, safety, and security that is found in You, we ask that You would open their eyes, their hearts, and the minds to what is available to us in You. We thank You, Lord, that we don’t have to spend hours on our knees to beg for these things as they are already available to all Your children.
