Evening Prayer January 19, 2025

Father in Heaven,

Holy are you, Lord God Almighty, for you alone are worthy of all glory, honor and praise.

From the beginning of Your preaching ministry, You called for everyone to repent, for You also declared that Your Kingdom was at hand, or near. Unfortunately, Lord, we have almost forgotten what it means to repent, or even why we need to repent. We've also changed our expectation of Your Kingdom from "at hand" to "sometime in the future." Lord, restore to our understanding what it really means to repent and instill in us the imperative to do so immediately. In addition, Lord, help us to see that Your Kingdom is for both the here and now, and the sometime in the future. Help us, Lord, to stop being crippled Christians. Help us to be everything You designed us to be.

Hear our prayers, Lord, in the precious name of your Son, our Lord and Savior,

Amen

Morning Prayer January 19, 2025

Father in Heaven,

Holy are you, Lord God Almighty, for you alone are worthy of all glory, honor and praise.

We ask that You would set our feet squarely on the path You have laid out for us and guide our steps so that we would not stray either to the right or the left. Fill our hearts with You love so that we might love others without reservation. Help us, Lord, to be a blessing to others.

Hear our prayers, Lord, in the precious name of your Son, our Lord and Savior,

Amen
