Father in Heaven,
Holy are you, Lord God Almighty, for you alone are worthy of all glory, honor and praise.
We are so completely unworthy of the magnificent gift You bestowed upon us in the Person of Your Son, Jesus the Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah. We tremble in the realization that it is our sin that required the sacrifice made by Your Son. We bitterly repent of the part we played in sending Your Son to the Cross and we beg Your mercy and forgiveness for continuing in our unrighteous ways. Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us, and restore in us the joy of Your salvation. We honor and glorify You, Lord, for loving us in such a way that You were willing to do what was required to restore us to a right relationship with You.
Hear our prayers, Lord, in the precious name of your Son, our Lord and Savior,
